When you go on a trip, what lenses do you take with you?

I think most people would probably choose a zoom lens, or a wide angle single focal length lens of about 35mm or 28mm.
Putting the zoom lens aside for the moment, a wide angle lens can capture the whole atmosphere of the scene.
But what's interesting to me personally is that even when I'm traveling, I'm still using 50mm.

Unlike a wide angle lens that packages the situation you are in, the 50mm lens gives you a strong sense of "cropping".
What is born out of this is subjectivity.

If you try to take photos from an active subjective perspective, you will feel less like a "tourist" and more like you are closer to the place you are traveling to.

You will get away from the sightseeing photos that come up in Google image search.

Find out what you are interested in and what you find interesting.

Getting to know yourself when you travel.
I think that's one of the attractions of the 50mm.
